Joaquim Menezes eleito presidente da EFFRA | 1 de março 2018


O actual presidente da Iberomoldes, da Iber-Oleff Portugal e Brasil, da incubadora OPEN, do Forum Manufuture, da European Tooling Platforme e da ISTMA Europa, Joaquim Menezes foi eleito, no passado dia 1 de março durante a assembleia geral em Bruxelas, presidente da Associação Europeia de Investigação para as Fábricas do Futuro (EFFRA – European Factories of the Future Research Association).

Esta eleição demonstra os resultados do trabalho que Portugal tem vindo a desenvolver a nível europeu na área do manufacturing e das tecnologias de produção. É a primeira vez que um português lidera uma associação que dinamiza, em conjunto com a Comissão Europeia, a maior Parceria Público Privada contratual do Programa Horizonte 2020, que conta com um orçamento europeu de cerca de 1.150 milhões de euros.

A associação conta, actualmente, com mais de 150 membros de vários países europeus. Entre alguns colossos da Europa, como Bosch, Siemens, Rolls Royce, Volvo, estão o Centimfe, Iberomoldes, CEI, INEGI, INESC TEC, INL e Sonae Indústria a representar Portugal.
